Everyone is to be in a small group!

Reading this in my mail reminds me of the impending danger coming up next week. yes, the once in a year "Let's play guitar" internal concert. I really wonder who still remembers that they are obligated to enter into a small group. I'll bet at least 50% of the people will heck it with this.

Which reminds me I should document how much the ensemble has spent on scores this year. over 1000 bucks! AND, we're still short of pieces for our annual concert.

The incompetence(or incontinence) of my music director has always been a good topic of tea/supper chats. Not to mention his ridiculous behaviour 3 years back; He actually threathened me over the phone that he'll use his relations with Thumboo to get into GENUS whether or not the student committee agrees to it. Hilarious. He must have been masquerading in Piper's shithole and Shitalla for too long to come up with such desperate measures. Anyway, I think this shows what kind of character he is or can become.

Well they were discussing after ExPO practice (Spirited is very nice but I don't agree with the ending. Gelato is jialato...) that this year, we actually have MORE than enough pieces. In fact Shu Hann commented and I observed, that during the last few weeks Genus is now almost performance level, with most of the somgs for Funds Raising AND RnR settle. In fact, we have so much songs that we can choose between ELO or Get Back as encore piece for RnR.

Might want to think about turning on word verification on for comments. Prevents those long spammy comments that have been circulating around. It's somewhere in the blogger settings comments tab.

How are RnR songs settled? We hardly worked on the Handel or Spring.

Your posts about our "beloved" conductor are most amusing. Sadly true, though. His time management leaves much to be desired... :(

this year's LPG is gonna be a joke lah.. Sigh.. to think i started this 'series' of performance for the sake of letting small groups in Genus have another platform to showcase their talents and hardwork, without the usual stress of rehearsals and expectations... now it has almost become a 'burden'.. geez. might as well dun have it.
